My name is Gabriel Vargas, born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, I have been a professional tattoo artist since 2006, and opened Ballistic Ink Tattoo Studio / Ballistic Ink, LLC in 2019.  I was drawn to art at an early age but quickly decided that the medium did not matter.  Whether it was pencil, pen, color pencil, spray can, paint brush, or anything else, I grew up just wanting to leave my mark on the world.  School never kept my attention, so college was not in my future, but the natural evolution of my artwork led to tattooing.  Being a student of the craft, I wanted to understand the rules and become proficient in every style of tattooing.  So, regardless of the style you want:  New School, American Traditional, Neo Traditional, Black and Gray, Realism, Japanese, Irezumi, Tribal, Script and Lettering, Watercolor, Geometric, Mexican Traditional, Chicano, Fine Line, Trash Polka, Steampunk, Portraits, Illustrative, Embroidery, Mandala, Graffiti, Surrealism, Minimalist, Cartoon / Anime, Biomechanical, Religious, Abstract, Horror, etc., I will work with you to develop the perfect piece for you.  Every tattoo has a story behind it, and I would love to be a part of yours.  Si, hablo español.
